It's a little bit late for Halloween, but it's never too late to scream because of a great movie!

Hey all! Hope you’re having a good Halloween weekend. Just to let you all know, we will now be putting up the minutes from the E-Board Meetings online. These minutes have been put together by JSA secretary, Mariko. So far, every meeting’s minutes up to October 23rd are online. ＪＳＡのみなさんこんにちは！いつもお世話になっております我らがコプレジ樋口（パクチー）です。日々勉学に勤しまれているＪＳＡの皆様に朗報です！！
なんと、日本中の学生にお馴染みの大手就職支援サイト「マイナビ」を運営している毎日コミュニケーションズさんより、ＪＳＡの度重なる交渉の末、わたしたちＳＵＮＹＡｌｂａｎｙ在籍の日本人学生の為だけに、ＪＳＡプライベート就活セミナーを開いていただける運びと相なりました！
留学中は何かと情報不足になりがちな就職活動ですが、これから就職を希望する３，４年生の皆様、就職にはまだはやいけど、どんなもんか知りたい皆様、日本で働きたいＪＳＡなアメリカ人の学生たちも、来月のボストンキャリアフォーラムが控えている今、この貴重な機会にフルってご参加クダサイ！！
以下、当日で話される大まかな予定です↓

○面接、グループ面接の受け方
○全体的な就職活動の流れ(具体的に留学生がどのように就職活動を行えばいいのか、
就職活動の時期などを国内学生と比較しながらスライドで説明)

■２．マイナビ発！ＪＳＡ個別就職相談会(General Counseling)
日程：１１月６日(金) １５：００～２０：００（一人あたり最大２０分間）
ガイダンス後に気になった事、自己ＰＲの書き方、志望業界の事情など、それぞれの就職活動に関してより具体的に詳しくカウンセリングをしてもらえます。２１日（水）のガイダンス当日に皆様の希望の時間をうかがい、調整してこちらから改めて連絡をします！
JSA Asian Occasion Practice #1
We are holding our 1st JSA asian occasion dance practice and here is how the timing will be like:
From 7:00 – 8:00 we will be teaching you how to dance the Soran Bushi (japanese traditional song and dance).
From 8:00 – 9:00 Michelle Ou will be teaching you how to dance the choreography to a remixed japanese song of Lady Gaga Poker and Do Me More Namie Amuro. Warning to those that are trying to learn the modern dance: it will be fast and kind of hard to grasp because the dance moves choreographed are little advanced than beginner dancing. Just be aware of that fact.
Please be on time for practice and wear dancing attire that you will comfortable wearing and dancing in. Preferably tennis shoes and pants you can move and stretch in.
It will be held in the lounge in the campus center by SA and Copies Plus.

JSA will be hosting its first event - a Japanese Workshop.
This will be a great opportunity to meet some new people & immerse yourself in some interesting Japanese culture.

Interested in learning some contemporary Japanese slang words?
Always wondered what's the 'right' way to use chopsticks?
Always wanted to make your own paper crane or another fancy origami?
If you've answered yes to any or all of these questions - this event is for you!

will teach you that different Asian cultures act very differently at the dinner table.
So come learn some etiquette & sample some delicious Asian food @ this year's "A Taste of Asian Etiquette" workshop.
A delicious program brought to you by the C.H.A.R.G.E. multicultural program, the University Apartments, & AOC 
JSA will be there to teach how to eat “soba” noodles, “the Japanese way.” Come check it out and get some free food! It will take place Thursday, September 24th at 7 PM at “the Big Room” at Empire Commons. Hope to see you there!
